There are TWO easy ways to open your FREE Diagnostic Work Order
  On-Line Free Diagnostic Work Order


1) On-line Diagnostic Work Order
Click here to open a "Diagnosis Only" work order. After submitting the work order, you will receive a confirmation email as well as shipping instructions by email. Your credit card will not be charged directly from the shopping cart and you will never be charged for any repairs without your authorization. In the shopping cart, you will only be selecting the method of RETURN SHIPMENT and approving that charge, you will be notified in advance with a comprehensive quote and be given a chance to approve or disapprove the work before it is performed. There is no risk to you.
  Mail-in Free Diagnostic Work Order

2) Mail-In Diagnostic Work Order
If you do not wish to create a work order in advance, please use the following guidelines when sending your device into iPodRepair.com for service:

  1. Print and complete the iPodrepair Diagnostic Order Form (PDF)
  2. Backup any data you want to keep before sending your unit in for service. We cannot be responsible for anyloss of data on your iPod or iPhone. Almost all repairs to your iPod or iPhone involve disconnecting the battery, which will result in data loss on your iPod/iPhone. Non-volatile storage (like the iPod hard drive) will never be cleared by our technicians without your knowledge and approval.
  3. Mail your unit and completed iPodRepair.com Order Form to iPodRepair.com. Avoid using mailing envelopes. Use a sturdy cardboard box with dimensions of 6"x4"x3" or greater. Use plenty of bubble wrap or other packaing material that will protect the LCD screen in the even of an impact to the shipping box.

Shipping Information

UPS, Federal Express, DHL, or the Postal Service are all acceptable for inbound shipping of your iPod or iPhone. Please note that UPS, Fed-Ex, and Airborne Express all have online tracking stystems that allow viewing the status of your shipment at any time. You are responsible for any shipping damage that occurs in the inbound leg. ipodrepair strongly recommends that you insure your package for the replacement value on the inbound shipment.

Always ship your inbound repair "Signature Required" if using the Postal Service to insure that the receipt of the package is recorded by the carrier and not left in our mailbox. If you use one of the standard carriers (FEDEX, UPS, Airborne Express, DHL), this is not necessary, all deliveries are made inside our office and signed for by our employees. ipodrepair.com cannot be responsible for the receipt of any package not shipped in this manner. ipodrepair.com will NOT accept packages shipped "Freight Collect" or "Duty Collect." You will receive an email from ipodrepair.com confirming receipt of your shipment as well as notification of the return shipment.
